Thank you Prof. Benjamin Li Junting for inviting me to speak to your Immersive Journalism students. It was a great opportunity to reflect on my own career/methods and it was rewarding to connect with many women journalists in your class who raised great questions, such as, "what are the financial prospects of working as an immersive creator?" We need a better business model to support creators in immersive media, which has so much potential that is still in the process of being figured out. Meanwhile, it's important to continue innovating and staying up to date with the various new tech - web3, AI, XR - until a more cohesive future materializes in the metaverse. Let's continue the journey.
